So what's this all about?

We at the 'Three Thumbs Up Award' are sick of looking at crappy art. We want to encourage and facilitate the pursuit of great art and reward it when we can. It's that simple. The 'Three Thumbs Up Award' is our way of giving props and kudos to the ones who create and facilitate art that makes us wish we had an extra thumb to raise. We also just like looking at cool artwork and we figure others would too.

FAQ - How does it work? Why participate?

Three Thumbs Criteria
The recipients of the award meet or exceed the ‘Three Thumbs’ criteria for eligibility.

Thumb 1 - Creativity: Their work shows a depth of originality or unique conceptual thinking and style that captivates the viewer and fosters visual wonderment.

Thumb 2 - Inspirability: Their work sparks the creative fire and motivates others to pursue their passion and strive for artistic excellence in their own artwork and projects.

Thumb 3 - Proclivity: Their work shows a consistent and proven track record of creative and inspiring artwork on a regular basis.

How do you get the award?
You first need to request a FREE membership and then you'll receive login information. Once you have that you can post your work to the ‘Three Thumbs Up Award’ Gallery and your work will be observed over a period of time based upon the ‘Three Thumbs Criteria’. If a pattern of great work is clearly shown then you’ll be rewarded with a ‘Three Thumbs Up Award’.

Why should I do this?
It's a simple way for you to create more awareness about your artwork and receive feedback from those viewers who post comments about it. And because we share links to an ever-growing blogosphere who will have the opportunity to view your work it'll be seen by more people as time passes. All the while working your way towards a 'Three Thumbs Up Award' and improving your overall creative skills in the process. It's no-brainer fun and a FREE way to share your work with the world.

What type of work do I post?
This award is geared towards the 'Creative Arts' community and all the various sub-cultures within it. It can be a personal project, rough sketches or final pieces of art. It doesn't matter just post your best work.

How do I start posting?
All you have to do is request a FREE membership and login information for posting on the 'Three Thumbs Up' gallery will be sent to you. To get yours, email: threethumbsup@vonster.com

Do I have to be a member to view the gallery?
No. Anyone can visit the 'Three Thumbs Up Award' Gallery. You do not have to be a member. But if you want to win an award you have to request a FREE membership in order to post your artwork.

Is there a catch?
Not at all. The membership as stated above is FREE. Post as much or as little as you like.

Can I nominate someone?
Absolutely! This is all about rewarding the creative efforts of those who do great work. If you feel someone deserves the award then email me their contact information and I'll invite them to sign-up for a FREE membership.
